Vicinity will utilize wholesale carbon-free power from the grid and import it to our facilities through a co-located electric substation to power our electric boilers to produce eSteam™.
Our first 42MW electric boiler was installed at our Cambridge, MA, facility in 2024, with our Philadelphia location closely following.
